Platz Hobby has produced yet another beautiful kit in 1/144th scale. This time they've created the nicest looking C-46 Commando kit in any scale so far and if it assembles as nice as it looks, this kit will be a winner. The basic kit is simple though it does have a cockpit with seats and control yokes. Platz has released a photo-etched detail set that provides rear cockpit bulkhead, instrument panel, finer control yokes, and nice details for inside the wheel wells and gear doors.
More interesting is the comprehensive decal sheet that comes in this kit. Markings are provided for 41 (!!!) examples:

There are 39 aircraft represented in JASDF service and two in USAF service circa Korean War. The decal sheet also has nice stenciling, walkways, arctic markings, etc.
