First Look

WWII US Navy LCM Crew

This release came from Trumpeter a few years ago to accompany their 1/35 LCM Landing Craft kit. If you count the number of legs and divide by two, this set comes with six figures. There are actually three unique figures on two duplicate parts trees. The crew is dressed in their cold weather/water protective gear.

The parts are molded in gray styrene and as you can see in the photos, aren't complex to assembly, but are modular enough to mix and match parts to render different poses.

I picked up a set of these to see if they could be adapted for my 1/35 Italeri PT-596 project. While they are dressed for the cold, they may be adaptable or at least parts of these figures (helmets and life vests) could be used in the project. We shall see.

Nevertheless, these are still available and will work well with your LCM as-designed.
