First Look
Here is the latest release from Caracal Models, this time offering part 2 of their coverage of the A-10C Thunderbolt II in Air National Guard service. Part 1 was covered here. In this installment, we have four aircraft, two from the Arkansas ANG and two from Michigan ANG.
The subjects covered in this set include:
- A-10C, 80-0188, 188 FW, AR ANG
- A-10C, 78-0614, 188 FW, AR ANG
- A-10C, 79-0193, 127 FW, MI ANG
- A-10C, 80-0255, 127 FW, MI ANG
The markings are nicely printed (by Cartograf) and provide national markings, distinctive nose art markings as well as a nice set of airframe stencils. The decals are all single-layer - none of them require you to stack one decal atop another to recreate complex art as with some other decal manufacturers.
