Object 172M is a pre-production tank version of the T-72. 20 units of these tanks were sent to Sagan in 1978. A copy of which was made on the basis of this model is exhibited in the Museum of Polish Military Technology in Warsaw. Painting and complete set is consistent with the original painting of the late 70s. Traces of wear and tear are typical for intensively used tank of this type in linear units at the time. To perform the correct version was necessary to use sets of valorisation: sheathing stereoscopic rangefinder tower (resin SKP); An early version of the forward fuselage (resin + plates SBS); tracks (Friul); Ropes (EUREKA XXL); Antenna (RB). From scratch, it was necessary to perform additional elements: screens against cumulative; fenders; Mounting hardware on the hull and the blade; Wiring tower elements. In contrast to the standard colors used in the first series of LWP tanks of this type were produced in the USSR and were painted with paint typical Soviet Army USSR. The model was painted with a base color from the palette AK.
