MRC/Italeri Contest 2013
1/48 V-22 Osprey A019

I built Italeri's 1/48 V-22 kit 2622 from the box but I decided to changed the paint scheme. I painted in the markings of a HMX-1 VIP transport. The USMC has begun replacing the CH-46 with the V-22 in VIP transport support duties. The color is a gloss field green and the markings were taken from a Microscale decal sheet 72-445 for the CH-53 of HMX-1 in 1/72 scale. These were the only ones that seemed to be in register for the scheme.
