Using reference scale plans I scratch built additional trunking that connects to rectangular ducts at rear of fuselage secured with a frame of steel wire to simulate reinforcing steel brackets holding duct in place. Other additional items were a thin nose probe, elevator control links, cockpit floor bulkhead and central console, coaming and instrument panel, fire extinguishers in cockpit and rectangular heat resisting plates fitted under the wings behind engine exhaust pipes and made from thin plastic card.
