This is the Nostromo Towing Vessel from ALIEN. The kit is the rare 1/960th scale HALYCON vinyl kit from years ago. The model had to be re-enforced with plastic stock and foam-core to straighten things out and keep them from twisting. It's built from stock other than the custom base which is a clear plastic picture frame. After painting the kit with an airbrush I applied many washes to create the heavily-weathered paint scheme.
