U.S.S. Constellation - as seen in the STAR TREK episode "The Doomsday Machine" - This model was built in 1977, from the original 18 in. AMT Enterprise kit. There were no aftermarket parts available. The decals came from the Estes flying rocket Enterprise kit. The name was applied with dry letter transfers. Where there were hull breaches, I scratch built decks, corridors, and cabins that are visible in the openings . Parts of the hull were contoured to look more accurate, and other parts were scratch built. The battle damage, burn marks, and weathering were all done with airbrush.
