Polar Lights 1:350 USS Enterprise – The Original Series - I used the lighting kit from Polar Lights and the included photo-etch to create a realistic version of the Smithsonian Studio Model. Picture shows the model light up. I also included the open hanger bay in which you can see a small shuttlecraft preparing to launch. The bridge can also be seen through the upper dome. Model was painted with oil-based Shady Grove as base color, then I used the recommended colors from the kit and weathered it with pastel chalk.
