Here is another quick and easy addition to your workbench. This is the HobbyZone SM01 Painting Tools Stand that has four wells in which to place 36mm paint bottles, a larger well in the center that can be used for a disposable cup (I use it for my Windex bottle), and holes along the rear for brushes, tools, and whatever else you need that will fit.
This stand comes as a kit with the five white parts tooled separately as well as the raised back for your tools/brushes. It takes no time to glue this together with wood glue (I used Gorilla non-foaming Wood Glue) and now it can shuffle around my bench where needed.
You can see in the images below the relative size (small) compared to my X-Acto knife, which is the best use of this stand as I can put two X-Acto knives point-down in the stand so they won't roll off the bench at an inopportune time. The stand keeps other frequently used items close by without spilling as I use the Windex to clean my airbrush between colors and/or between uses, and the other tools to mix and prepare paint for the airbrush.
You can see this and other products at the HobbyZone website ( www.hobbyzone.biz) and on their eBay Store. Stay tuned as we build up other modules and see what we can do with them to organize the bench!
My thanks to HobbyZone.biz for this review sample.
