Funtec produces a variety of high-end bits for precision modeling and crafting applications. The SB-series of bits are carbide line engraving cutters that are ideal for creating or replacing damaged panel lines. Unlike the average panel line tool 'out there', these precision bits range from 0.1mm to 1.2mm in blade width so you can more accurately replicated details that may have been removed or faded during molding. You can see the range of bits below:
Each cutter bit is on a 3.175mm shaft which will fit into larger pin vices or into Funtec's specially made K-Holder handle. Each cutter has a colored ring to help identify the width of each bit.
These bits are not cheap, but they are part of Funtec's high-end tool selection which are durable and versatile. One caution they provide is the thinner blades (0.1-0.25mm) can be broken if you put a side-load on the blade while engraving a line into your surface. On the other hand, they are designed to last on materials like styrene and resin. When not in use, please keep a protective cover on each bit (one is provided with each bit as shown below).
Funtec does provide a brief YouTube demo of these bits at work here: demo
