Review
Phil Listemann has released the latest monograph under the Squadrons! banner. In Volume 3, the author looks at the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V in RAF/Commonwealth operations in the Far Eastern Theater. The title looks at each squadron including 136, 607, 615 and the AFTU. As with previous titles from Philedition, the author provides a brief summary of each squadron's operations with the Spitfire Mk.V as well as the available operational statistics.
This title is also nicely illustrated with period black and white photos of the Spitfire Mk.V and its crews with each of the squadrons. Three color profiles are also included in this title.
These titles provide concise information on the operations and highlights of these aircraft in RAF and Commonwealth service. Check out this and other titles offered by this author on his RAF-in-Combat website.
