Review
Here is Aero Research's first release for 2018 - Mustang. This title is a bit different than previous releases as it features a mix of black and white as well as color photos (mostly color) with dates ranging from 1945 through 2012, and this time around, there are 191 images to view. As with the previous releases, these images are provided at 4000 pixels wide.
The first few photos reflect Mustangs still in service just after the end of World War II while coverage quickly moves to civilian-owned Mustangs. While most P-51s you'll see are 'warbirds' (wearing representative colors and markings from WWII or Korea), many of these images show some interesting civilian paint schemes. Of course, there are photos of air racers, both stock and highly modified examples. Of course, coverage wouldn't be complete without the Turbo Mustang, the prototype for the Piper Enforcer. Sadly, many of these aircraft have been lost over the years.
This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!
You can purchase this reference or any of their other photo CDs directly from their website www.aeroresearchcds.com or via email AeroResearch@Charter.net.
My sincere thanks to Aero Research for this review sample!
