Aero Research has released this nice monograph covering the Stearman, that rugged pilot trainer that brought significant numbers of pilots into service during World War II and would continue life in post-war civilian service as a trainer, barnstormer, cropduster, warbird, or simply a privately owned aircraft.

This disc contains 195 high resolution images of the aircraft sorted by tail number. This disc starts off with wartime PT-17 and N2S examples followed by an impressive array of civilian and warbird liveries. For the modeler, you'll see lots of good details and color information for tackling the Revell 1/48 Stearman kits.

This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!

You can purchase this reference or any of their other photo CDs directly from their website www.aeroresearchcds.com or via email AeroResearch@Charter.net.

My sincere thanks to Aero Research for this review sample!
