Here's another instant hit with my reference library - F-14 Tomcat Part 3 from Aero Research. This CD follows Part 1 and Part 2 and is also loaded with nothing but Tomcat, 167 high resolution images! In this installment we have a cross-section of aircraft from the Fleet Squadrons as well as representatives from special activities ranging from 1973 through 1993. This batch of images contains a good mix of A-model Tomcats with a good selection of B and D models as well.
None of these photos are from the government photo archives, these are all compiled from the same excellent range of professional (or very skilled) aviation photographers. Most importantly, all of these photos are of aircraft still in service, no derelicts, boneyard storage, or museum pieces.
This latest installment includes images of:
- VF-1 (6 aircraft)
- VF-2 (7 aircraft)
- VF-11 (5 aircraft)
- VF-14 (6 aircraft)
- VF-21 (5 aircraft)
- VF-24 (7 aircraft)
- VF-31 (5 aircraft)
- VF-32 (9 aircraft)
- VF-33 (4 aircraft)
- VF-41 (8 aircraft)
- VF-51 (8 aircraft)
- VF-74 (4 aircraft)
- VF-84 (8 aircraft)
- VF-101 (2 aircraft)
- VF-102 (4 aircraft)
- VF-103 (5 aircraft)
- VF-111 (9 aircraft)
- VF-114 (4 aircraft)
- VF-124 (6 aircraft)
- VF-142 (10 aircraft)
- VF-143 (5 aircraft)
- VF-154 (4 aircraft)
- VF-194 (2 aircraft)
- VF-201 (2 aircraft)
- VF-202 (3 aircraft)
- VF-211 (10 aircraft)
- VF-213 (7 aircraft)
- VF-301 (2 aircraft)
- VF-302 (1 aircraft)
- VX-4 (3 aircraft)
- NASA (1 aircraft)
- NATC (1 aircraft)
- NFWS (2 aircraft)
This selection of images provide some early high-visibility color schemes, mid-service all-gray aircraft with high-visibility colors, and mid-late service low-visibility schemes.
This is a nice selection of imagery that you won't find available in such clarity and size. This title is recommended!

My sincere thanks to Aero Research for this review sample!
