Review
Accion Press Modelismo is back with another impressive issue of Euro Modelismo. This issue provides the usual nice array of modeling subjects to appeal to a wide variety of modelers. In this issue:
- Char FCM 2C in 1/35 scale
- BA 64B in 1/48 scale
- Matilda Mk.4 CS in 1/35 scale
- US Cavalry, Vietnam 1968 in 1/72 scale
- F-16CJ (Block 50) Fire Over the Balkans in 1/32 scale
- Messerschmitt Me 163B Komet in 1/32 scale
- Zouave V.A. Poisson 1866 in 54mm
As with each of the publications from Accion Press Modelismo, each of these articles are well-illustrated with step-by-step instructions to show you how to replicate these impressive models. Take for example the CH-47 on the cover - the slack sling under the aircraft is actually a heavy-duty pedestal to hold the CH-47 model aloft. Nice! Another example is the painting and weathering of the Meng 1/32 Me 163 Komet, the step by step process will open new frontiers in weathering your aircraft subjects. Ditto on the F-16CJ build article. Of course the armor models are likewise well laid out for 'how-to' recreate the spectacular results shown in each article.
If you're looking for a quality modeling magazine that has excellent photography, high-quality modeling topics and authors, outstanding paper and print quality, and very few ads, this is one of those series worth keeping in your modeling reference library. Euro Modelismo is published in your choice of English or Spanish.
Definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to Accion Press for this review sample!
