Review
The Panther was one of the Wehrmacht's deadliest tanks of World War 2. Its versatility and survivability on all fronts led to numerous variants being developed on the drafting boards as well as in the field. This title is part 5 in the series that is chronicling the development and modification of the Panzer V family.
This title continues the coverage of the Bergepanther and the Panther Ausf A. As with all of the books in this series, there is a ton of three-view drawings illustrating the different variations of each subject as well as numerous black & white and color photographs of the vehicles. The color photographs are of museum examples. Also included are color profiles highlighting some of the camouflage schemes used in the field.
This title is a must-have for the German WW2 armor historian as well as the Wehrmacht modeler. This title as well as the others in this series are available from many hobby shops or directly from the North American distributor - Air Connection (http://www.airconnection.on.ca).
My sincere thanks to Air Connection for this review sample!
