First Look
videoaviation.com is back with a nice kit that can be built on its own or as part of a diorama or vignette of your choice. This is the Coleman MB4 tow tractor which was used by the US Air Force to move a variety of aircraft types including the F-100 and F-4 in Southeast Asia as well as the F-111, F-15, and F-16 in Europe to B-1 and SR-71 in CONUS. These MB4 tow tractors were a common feature on any USAF flightline around the world during the 1960s and 1970s, and those that remained in service a little longer were repainted in tactical green versus safety yellow.
Among the features and options in this kit:
- Detailed chassis and suspension
- Nice photo-etched cab
- Photo-etched rear handrails
- Detailed heavy tow bar
- Decals included
- Die-cut acetate windows also included
This is a nice addition to any scale flightline and will provide even more realism parked near your favorite 1/72 USAF subject.

My sincere thanks to videoaviation.com for this review sample!
