First Look
Revell/Germany has addressed the problem of crewing up either the 1/72 S-100 Schnellboot or their impressive 1/72 Type VIIC U-Boat. Most modelers will only need a handful of figures to represent a deck watch or some surface action on either boat. But if you're one of the AMS modelers like I am, and have acquired one or more of the CMK interior sets for the U-Boat, then these figures will be especially handy to add some life below decks.
Each set contains 51 figures, many of which are repeated poses (handy if you're holding inspection dockside). Twelve figures are at parade rest for dockside inspection. There are thirteen different poses in the set, though these figures are molded in vinyl and can be altered.
For example, in addition to the 12 enlisted men at parade rest, there are five officers at attention, four Captain's figures with heavy coat and binoculars, two sets of three figures in rain gear in different poses, four sailors sitting (at a gun position), and a variety of other action poses.
Overall, this is a nice set that can be used to add a dimension of action to either German WW2 naval vessel.
