First Look
Here is one of the latest releases from Riich Models, this being the M1 57mm anti-tank gun which is really a US-manufactured 6 pounder British AT gun. During the war, the US manufactured a number of weapons systems for the British to help their war effort as well as fill in gaps in US armaments as well. This release also depicts the M2 gun late-version gun carriage that included a wheel in the trailing arms to help crews position the gun.
The kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on five parts trees plus two small frets of photo-etched details. Among the features and options in this kit:
- Very detailed gun and breech
- Detailed gun shield
- Detailed gun carriage with choice of wheels
- Ammo boxes and shells included
- No figures included
My sincere thanks to DML for this review sample.
