First Look
Here's an interesting figure from Rado Miniatures depicting an SS Unterscharfuehrer (junior squad leader) of the 5th SS Panzer Division (Viking) in Poland, 1944. The figure is depicted on the move holding his helmet steady with one hand and carrying his submachine gun in the other. This figure was sculpted by Radek Pituch.
This kit is cast in gray resin and as you can see in this parts image, the kit consists of the torso, separate arms, separate head w/helmet, weapon and hand, lower left boot, canteen, and mess kit. You'll be spending more time painting the distinctive camouflage pattern on the pants and helmet cover than assembling this gem.
My sincere thanks to High Calibre Miniatures for this review sample!
