First Look
Pacific Monograph started a series of figure kits, the first of which is this interesting chap. If you're around my age, you've already had a few chuckles as you recognize this character - Sir Percy Ware-Armitage, the comic villain from the 1965 classic Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines. Played by English actor Terry Thomas, this figure captures that signature gap in his front teeth. This figure was sculpted by Mike Good.
This kit is cast in gray resin and as you can see in this parts image, the kit consists of the torso, two separately cast arms, head, and the signature cigarette in its holder. This figure would make a colorful addition to your collection, but somehow I think it think it would be an irreverent alternative to pose with one of your Wingnut Wings 1/32 RAF fighters.
This is an outstanding first release from Pacific Monograph and I certainly hope they'll consider a corresponding 1941 John Belushi figure for my 1/32 P-40E Warhawk!
My sincere thanks to Pacific Monograph for this review sample!
