First Look
MJ Miniatures produces an interesting range of figure busts. This latest portrays a Roman Centurion posed as he is about to strike an opponent. The figure is beautifully cast in gray resin and features some impressive detailing.
As with the other busts in the series, the upper torso of this figure is perched on a plinth which is begging for its own painting and weathering. The figure is wearing his chain mail body armor decked out with his awards and position. The set includes his sword, helmet and shield. The casting is exquisitely done with the details in sharp relief which will make painting easy.
This is some really beautiful sculpting and casting which translates to an easy assembly and lots of options for painting. The painted figure on the box art shows just how nice the final result can be.
My sincere thanks to High Calibre Miniatures for this review sample!
