First Look

Master Box is back with another interesting figure set. This set depicts two young German volunteers hauling weapons and ammunitionto the frontlines using a repurposed bicycle cart. The artwork depicts the ruins of what appears to be Berlin though the two youngsters don't appear to be concerned about the Red Army nearby. As the war drew to a close, the young and old were pressed into the defense of Berlin in the final days.

Volkssturm. Ammunition to the Frontline Kit

Presented on three parts trees molded in gray styrene, the set includes the two figures, the bicycle cart with photo-etched wheel spokes, and a selection of rifles and ammunition boxes. This set would provide a vignette right out of the box or contribute to a larger diorama. The sculpting is sharp on these figures which will make painting straightforward.

My sincere thanks to Stevens International for this review sample!
