First Look
It is nice to see some of the kit companies respond to the requests of their customers. There has been a great deal of interest in contemporary figures to render dioramas and vignettes of current and recent events. Master Box as produced this interesting set of figures and they're just about as contemporary as you can get.
This five figure set depicts four special operators wearing an interesting mix of US military gear and local scarves and headgear. The unlucky fifth figure is wearing the compulsory bag over his head and bound, ready to be transported to parts unknown for questioning. The team leader is not exactly in local garb with a baseball cap and sunglasses, but he's phoning home on his SAT phone for extraction. There are optional parts in this set including two M4, three AK, and one M60. In fact, the figure with a ball cap in the cover art is molded with separate headgear so you can choose between ball cap and Afghan headgear.
With this set of figures, you can mix the various extra parts to render a scene in virtually any part of the Middle East. Thank you Master Box for producing this great set.
My sincere thanks to DML for this review sample!
