First Look

Here is an interesting release from MiniArt - a 1/16 scale Gladiator figure in attack pose. The kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on three parts trees. Assembly of this kit will be easy and straightforward as the armor is simplified for arena combat providing the greatest mobitility for each combatant.

Gladiator Kit

The upper leg armor and shoulder/upper arm armor simply overlay the basic figure which also makes painting of each protective layer much simpler. The helmet is last and the kit also features a mask that overlays the figures face. The detailing of each part is very sharp which will make painting of the figure much easier to apply.

If you're wanting to try your hand at figure building/painting or you want something different for your shelf, this Gladiator kit provides a simple build and possibilities for a unique and concise figure.

Thanks to MRC for the review sample.
