Kitty Hawk continues on with the Jaguar family presentations with the release of the trainer variant. This first-look will cover just the unique parts to this version.  The rest of the common parts and history as well as other details can be found in the previous presentations below:

This version is the most interesting to me being the family model and this just a thing of mine.  So when Airfix released their Jaguar I eventually bought both the French Hi Tech and the very nice Paragon resin two seat conversions.  As usual, when righteous bucks get spent a company come along and makes an injected kit!

So what we get in this latest Kitty Hawk is are a new clear parts sprue that includes the rear canopy and middle support, a new photo-etch fret that include the extra cockpit details and of course the new two seat forward fuselage with the extra cockpit parts.

Two decal options are included, one for a T2 Empire Test Pilots School aircraft in the attractive raspberry ripple white/red/blue scheme and another T2 in a gray/green camouflage.  Including an all gray T4 option would have been nice.

I have not done any test fitting and I cannot comment on the ease of assembly for this kit. Kitty Hawk is the first company to fill the niche for a two seat injected plastic Jaguar.

My sincere thanks to Kitty Hawk Models for this review sample!
