The Soviet Aircraft Carrier Baku is the fourth ship of the Kiev-class, now known as the Gorshkov. Baku normally carries 33 aircraft, usually made up of 12 Yak 38's, 18 Ka-27's and 3 Ka-25's. The Gorshkov has been sold to India and is being converted into a full deck aircraft carrier.
The HobbyBoss kit consists of over 328 styrene parts and 53 photo etch detail parts. All of the parts feature a very high level of detailing and the fit of the main components is great.
The kit is 100 % new tooling and features 4 Yak 38's and 4 Ka-27's. A very impressive decal sheet is included for all of the deck markings. The kit is a waterline only kit.
This one will build into a quite impressive ship when completed.
