First Look
The German WR360 C12 Locomotive was used mainly for shunting rail cars around in the train yards. During the war they were also used in high risk areas due to the fact that they, as diesel engines, did not produce the large amounts of smoke and steam clouds that their steam powered counter parts did.
The HobbyBoss kit of the German WR360 C12 Locomotive consists of 139 plastic parts on 9 sprues. Roadbed and track sections are also included to display your finished model. The molding is first rate and of the highest quality. Seam lines and knockout marks are minimal. There is no flash present anywhere. Construction starts from the ground up, beginning with the base! The drive train is next, followed by the cab, which features a very nice interior, and then the engine cover. The Main components fit very well and this kit should be a great and fast build.
Another unique vehicle from HobbyBoss! All parts are so well molded that this one should be an enjoyable, fun build.
My sincere thanks to Squadron Mail Order for this review sample!
