First Look
The Soviet red Star track motor car was designed in December of 1941. It used the KV-1 turret and the V-2K diesel engines. The first new armored track car was finished in February 1942.
This kit from HobbyBoss consists of over 79 parts on 6 sprues including the hull. All of the parts are very well molded and no flash is present. The track and roadbed are included for display of the finished kit. The main gun is molded with the end hollow. Decals for one version are included. Kit can be finished in overall green or with a winter whitewash. Detail is up to HobbyBoss's usual standards. This one will be a quick and fun build. It will also be a painters dream as the weathering potential in unlimited!
Another unique vehicle from HobbyBoss! All parts are so well molded that this one should be an enjoyable, fun build.
My sincere thanks to Squadron Mail Order for this review sample!
