First Look
We've been seeing Hasegawa producing a number of 1/12 scale furniture and diorama items over this last year and it is time to take a look at a few of them. This kit is their office desk and chair set. It is molded in two-color gray styrene and is can be snapped together without glue or paint (if you're so inclined).
This is one of a number of subjects produced by Hasegawa and a few of a growing number of products being produced in Japan for 1/12 doll houses and dioramas. The reason some of these items interest me is that they can provide a bit of background detail with some of my 1/12 Tamiya race cars, depicting them in the shop or laboratory under development. This set is a generic office desk and chair that would provide one part of such a vignette. You can leave the desk and chair unpainted and it will look fine, but add some paint and details and it will really look good alongside that Honda racer or Caterham Super Seven!
My sincere thanks to Hasegawa USA for this review sample!
