First Look

We've been seeing Hasegawa producing a number of 1/12 scale furniture and diorama items over this last year and it is time to take a look at a few of them. This kit is their meeting room desk and chair set. It is molded in two-color styrene and is can be snapped together without glue or paint (if you're so inclined). There are four complete sets of chairs and two complete tables in one box. The tables individually are the long/narrow form factor but if you put the two tables together lengthwise, they make into a typical small conference room table. The tables and chairs are of the folding type.

Meeting Room Desk and Chair

This is one of a number of subjects produced by Hasegawa and a few of a growing number of products being produced in Japan for 1/12 doll houses and dioramas. The reason some of these items interest me is that they can provide a bit of background detail with various 1/12 scale dioramas or vignettes. You can leave the desks and chairs unpainted and they will look fine, but add some paint and details and it will really look good in whatever setting you'd like to convene.

My sincere thanks to Hasegawa USA for this review sample!
