First Look
High Calibre Miniatures sent over this really nice release from Evolution Miniatures which features a typical SS tank crewman carrying a bucket of paint. As depicted, the crewman is wearing his Herbst camouflaged uniform as well as his leather coat and gloves as the seasons have changed and it is time to whitewash the panzer for winter operations.
This figure is cast in light tan resin and will be an easy build as well as easy to paint. You'll have to fabricate a bucket handle out of wire to complete the model.
You can take your favorite Tiger, Panther, or other panzer, mount it to a base with some snow and add this figure, and you've got a simple vignette that will tell a story. Add a few other figures and details, and this could be a meaningful point of a more complex diorama. The possibilities are limited by only your imagination.
My sincere thanks to High Calibre Miniatures for this review sample!
