First Look
Here's a nice looking figure set from Bravo 6. Whoever is doing their sculpting is really an artist with an excellent eye for detail. These figures are molded in gray resin and presented on eight molding blocks and the designer made sure that you can remove these parts from the casting block without much effort or repairs.
Take a close look at the parts image - everything from the facial expressions to the laces on their boots are very well done. What is interesting here is that the two figures in the box aren't the ones on the box, but from what I have found online, these two are out of the third installment of MACV-SOG(3) 35045.
The Bravo 6 line has definitely raised the bar on figure quality! According to the box, this is figure set number two out of a three figure set (so far) centered around the military advisors inserted into Vietnam in the early-to-mid 1960s. From what I've seen of the other figures in this series, you can assemble quite a vignette or diorama from these figures or tell a story with this figure set on its own.
My sincere thanks to High Calibre Miniatures for this review sample!
