First Look
Aoshima has joined the companies producing 'egg'citing subjects and here's one of their first, hot off the production line. This is the International Rescue Thunderbird 2 in an egg-shape but retaining many of the features found in Aoshima's regular Thunderbird 2 releases.
This set is molded in green, silver, and red styrene and is a snap-assembly kit. This means that the kit is ideal for young modelers as well as us older modelers that have short attention spans. The kit features positionable landing gear to drop off the cargo pod. The cargo pod has a movable ramp with the Mole and Thunderbird 4 that can be stored inside.
If you're a fan of the old Thunderbirds series, this is one you'll want to have for your desk or shelf (but you're going to have to get it past your kid first).
My sincere thanks to DML for this review sample!
