First Look
The AMT Cadet Series is a collection of easy to assemble kits of some of the most famous ships in the fleet, all in a compact 1/2500 scale.
Each kit includes a complete set of decals featuring accurate ship markings and Aztec paneling for an extreme level of authenticity. Ships range in size from 2.1" long to 4.5" long. The kit contains:
- U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 - The kit consists of 13 parts molded in a light grey styrene. The finished kit is 4.5" long.
- Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser - The kit consists of 10 parts molded in light green styrene. The finished kit is 3.75" long.
- Romulan Bird-of-Prey - The kit consists of just 4 parts molded in dark grey styrene. The finished kit is 2.125" long.
These are all snap together kits. While they have plenty of detail for this scale, what really set these kits apart are the very high quality decal sheets.
These will be super-fast to assemble and will look great under paint and the outstanding decals.
My sincere thanks to Round2 Models for this review sample
