First Look
Adalbertus is a brand of figures produced by Arma Hobby of Poland. They produce excellent quality figures which assemble easily and only need painting and weathering to bring them to life. This kit represents an Army marksman/sniper from the first or second Gulf War.
As you can see in the image above, the kit comes with a beautifully cast torso, separately cast arms, helmet, M4 sniper rifle w/scope, magazines in pouches, canteen, and more. The figure is beautifully cast and easy to clean up and assemble. All it lacks is a good paint job to replicate the right camouflage BDUs for the time period/unit you're modeling.
The bad news is that Arma has announced that they are terminating production of their Adalbertus and Attack Squadron products, so if you've considered these figures in the past, get them now as they will be gone soon. While Arma is planning to sell the molds for their products, there is no telling if any new owners can match the casting quality of Arma Hobby. Last call!
My sincere thanks to HobbyZone USA for this review sample!
