MiniArt has released this latest installment in their 1/72 diorama building series, this a typical mid-century European automotive service garage building with a residence on the upper floor. The kit is molded in multicolor plastic with the brick walls molded in brick red, the doors, window frames, gutters, down spouts, and steps in other colors. One could almost build this kit without painting except for the roof molded in orange (unless you're going for the early Howard Johnsons' orange roof look).

As we've found with these kits, they go together very nicely as all of the parts are injection-molded styrene, no vac part are used in this series as opposed to the 1/35 scale subjects. Assembly is straightforward as this kit is engineered in modules, just take the time to make sure each of your modules go together squarely.

This is another nice looking release and I'll be giving this one a try shortly. Look for a a build review soon. Now if we can only convince MiniArt to produce their 1/35 scale building kits with 100% injection-molded parts...

My sincere thanks to MRC for this review sample!
