First Look
J's Work is an interesting company producing a nice range of details and diorama accessories of use to a wide range of modelers. In this release, we have a set of 60 of the star-type tie-down points that are embedded into the flight decks of US aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ship flight decks. These tie-down points allow the plane captains and their teams to tie down fixed and rotary-winged aircraft with heavy chains to keep aircraft from being swept over the side or into the path of other aircraft.
If you're building the Academy Hornets, Trumpeter Tomcats or Super Hornets, or other modern naval aviation subject in 1/32 scale, this set will provide you with the requisite tie-down points that you can mount into your display base and chain down your model just as they are in full-scale. Chains not included.
