Here's the latest from Werner's Wings - this is a replacement gun turret for the nose of the Kitty Hawk Models 1/48 AH-1Z Viper kit. Where the kit turret has a covered bottom, this set provides the open bottom turret with gimbal and gun details. This set can also be used with any 1/48 AH-1J, AH-1T, or AH-1W kit with a little work.
This set consists of four parts, turret housing, gimbal, main gun breech/drive, and mantle. Simply clean up the mold flash from these nicely cast resin parts and you're ready for installation and paint.
If you want to add some nice detail to your Kitty Hawk Viper kit and show the open-bottomed turret used on USMC aircraft (better air cooling), then you'll want this set.
