White Ensign Models continues to expand its product lines into broader areas and this detail set is no exception. With this detail set, they've provided one part of four intensive photo-etched detail sets for the recent Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster.

In this release, the set provides eye-popping details for the cockpit. The set includes a good-sized fret of photo-etched parts and a sheet of acetate instrument faces.

With the help of the acetate faces, the photo-etched detail set provides a very detailed instrument panel, navigator's panel, radio operator's panel, radar operator's panel, and bombardier's panel. In addition, the photo-etched parts transform the rest of the interior with nicely detailed rudder pedals, throttle quadrant, crew seats, navigator's table, equipment racks, turret interior structures, ammo belts, and even the essential crew toilet.

This set is not intended for the average modeler as you'll be working with very small photo-etched parts that will either need to be individually glued into place using a cyano adhesive or soldered using a resistence soldering tool.

This super-detailed conversion with work with any of the Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster variants and will also work with the venerable Airfix kit.

The instructions provide good references for parts assembly and placement, plus some useful notes for modifying the stock kit to accept these new parts..
