First Look
If you've been impressed with the beautiful detail that Tristar puts into their armor kits, you're not alone. They've been working through a number of German panzer variants over the last several years, several of which variants of the Pz.Kpfw.38(t) light tank produced in Czechoslovakia. We reviewed the Mark E/F and Mark G versions previously here on Cybermodeler.
In this release, Tristar has provided the same set of track links that have been in their kits for your use on other manufacturer's Panzer 38(t) kits. This track set is molded in desert yellow styrene and provided on four parts trees, two trees for each side of the tank.
The tracks can be carefully snapped together to build your sections of track without a jig, but I'd highly recommend gluing the track runs once they're installed on the tank as the pins are fragile and won't tank much handling. The pin assembly allows for ease of assembly of this set.
If you're looking for a nice set of tracks to update/improve your Panzer 38(t) kit, this set is released just in time for some Panzer 38(t) kits coming from other sources.
