First Look
SBS Model produces an impressive array of aftermarket detail sets for a variety of popular kits and subjects. Their online store is nicely laid out to show the variety of cockpits, propeller sets, ejection seats, and more that are available directly from their site.
This release is an impressive enhancement to the 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3/4 kits produced by either Tamiya or Hasegawa. This set completely replaces the interior of the stock kits with new resin pit, resin and PE instrument panel, resin pilot's seat, resin and photo-etched sidewalls with all the right detailing, and a nice photo-etched frame for the canopy and windscreen.
While the Tamiya stock cockpit is a little more detailed than the Hasegawa kit, this detail set will really enhance either (or both) kit when you want to pose your Emil with the 'office door' open.
