First Look
SBS Model produces an impressive array of aftermarket detail sets for a variety of popular kits and subjects. Their online store is nicely laid out to show the variety of cockpits, propeller sets, ejection seats, and more that are available directly from their site.
This release is an update for the Tamiya kit which replaces the turret with the up-armored version that also includes new sights and very nice details. This set brings the Tamiya kit up to the 1985 standard with some eye-catching details. This set includes a new turret, hatches, stowage boxes, thermal sight with positionable cover, smoke grenade launchers, spotlight, photo-etched brackets and mounts, and options for the B or B1 variants. In fact, only a few kit parts are actually used again on this turret when you're finished. Very nice details!
