First Look
ResKit from Ukraine produces a nice array of resin detail sets for a variety of popular subjects and scales. This set provides a complete replacement for the upper transmission and rotor head for the three-engined/seven-bladed CH-53E and MH-53E. Cast in gray resin, this set provides the very nice details with additional photo-etched enhancements. The set will work with the Academy 1/48 CH-53E Super Stallion and MH-53E Sea Dragon kits.
The casting of these parts is very sharp and provide nice details at a reasonable price. Note that Reskit also produces a CH/MH-53E tail rotor set, CH-53 wheel set, and CH/MH-53 air refueling probe for the Academy kits, as well as the rotor head for the 1/48 twin-engined/six-bladed CH-53A/G kit from Revell.
