First Look
Resin 2 Detail has released a beautiful pair of pilots seats for the Monogram 1/48 B-17G kit and will work in the Revell 1/48 B-17F as well. This set is cast in gray resin and features some excellent detail and casting technology. Look at the image below and you can see the nice details cast into these seats. Both seats have seat cushions installed as well as lap belts though the buckle details are a little soft on my examples. These seats should be installed on the kit's seat frames in place of the kit parts.
If you're planning to build a 1/48 scale B-17, these seats will be visible in the cockpit and will look nice!. This set can be purchased directly from the manufacturer here: resin2detail.com.
