Resin 2 Detail has released this interesting upgrade for the Monogram and Revell 1/48 B-17 Flying Fortress kits. The stock kits (Revell B-17F and Monogram B-17G) have simplified exhaust ducts that are routed to the outside of the outboard nacelles (in plain view). This set replaces those simple parts with accurate representations of the full-scale ducts that are ready to drop-in fit into the kits.
This set consists of two parts cast in gray resin and are ready to be removed from the mold base, painted and weathered, and dropped into place on your model. This set can be purchased directly from the manufacturer here: resin2detail.com.
