First Look
Pavla produces an interesting line of detail sets for a variety of subjects, each one designed to enhance a particular aspect of a given kit. In this set, Pavla offers another nice update for Airfix's 1/48 TSR.2.
Here is a simple enhancement - a drop-in replacement for the kit's nosewheel well. You can see that the resin casting above even has the mounting tabs in place on both sides of the wheel well to plug right into the fuselage halves. The image below gives you a side-by-side look at the white kit wheel well and Pavla's replacement.
The basics are in both parts including the nosegear mount and the twin wheel recesses in the rear of the wells, but the Pavla part has greater depth, structural details, plumbing, and other details inside which will enhance the look of your model, especially when paired up with the huge main gear well casting here.
If you want to dress up your Airfix TSR.2 kit, Pavla has the parts to get the job done!
