First Look
Pavla produces a wide range of detail sets for a variety of modeling subjects, primarily in 1/72nd scale. This release is targeted for the new Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen FAW.2 kit. This release replaces the kit cockpit with some nicely cast and detailed resin parts.
Out of the box, the Airfix kit is a nice, but Pavla provides an eye-catching cockpit including a new dual tub for pilot and radar operator, new instrument panels and consoles for both cockpits, two nice Martin Baker ejection seats, and a replacement canopy frame for the radar operator. The pilot's canopy is also provided as a vacuformed part that is thin and clear so you can see all of that nice detail through the canopy if you pose your model canopy closed, but you can also carefully separate the canopy from the windscreen and pose both cockpits open. You'll definitely want to show off that new interior!
If you want to update your Airfix kit, Pavla has the parts to get the job done!
