First Look
If you're looking to add a little more detail to the HobbyBoss 1/72 single-seat MiG-15 or two-seat MiG-15UTI kits, here is an impressive bit of resin casting that will meet your needs. This simple conversion spares you the frustration of having to surgically separate the elevators from the horizontal stabilizers.
On most horizontal tail surgeries, a simple straight cut will separate the elevators from the horizontal stabs. It will do the same with this subject except that you'll also amputate the mass balances at the outer edge of the elevators. This simple conversion has done all of the hard work for you. Plug the horizontal stabs into the kit tail and position the elevators to taste.
If you want to accurize your HobbyBoss MiG-15 fighter, Pavla has the parts to get the job done!
My sincere thanks to Pavla Models for this review sample.
